RX-2 BallJoint Covers

The Rx-2 still has good balljoints, although the covers are perished and need renewing. The spares shop checked and they dont offer for RX-2 or even RX-7.

Does anyone know if some other ball joint cover could fit? You know Escort, Toyota, 323 or whatever?

I would hazzard a guess at early 323 (RWD) stuff fitting, might be a case of trial and error with the local parts dealership :(

wait a minute , ball joint covers ??? I don't think you can buy them seperately, its a case of buying the whole joint usually

note. the lower ball joints on FB rx7's are integral with the lower arm too :(

There are actually some on ebay at the moment, do you suppose I should snap them up? The MOT man said there is no play in them.

So you have never heard of buying the cover seperately?

Yes, I suppose rear wheel drive 323 would fit. They used lots of 616 and RX-2,3 parts for that. I have never seen one in the UK though. Did they sell well here? Top selling car in South Africa for a few years, so there are loads over there still going.

my dad used to have a 323 RWD estate when i was younger , I don't think they sold that well but then again no early mazdas did
