Fd/Fc Oil system?

Does anyone have any idea why fitting an FD 100psi regulator in a Fc T2 engine makes the Fc blow blue smoke?

I know some one that has tryed this with Fd Rotors,Oil control rings etc he runs Pre mix so it can't be a OMP problem i put it down to diffrent oil ways.

I would guess that its blowing smoke because the increased pressure is forcing oil out of the oil seals in the turbo, he probably needs to change the restrictor size in the oil feed line to drop the pressure a little

I belive its running an aftermarket To4E kit? (360 bearing etc)

I thought maybe the stock T2 breather system or oil ways may have been to blame but i think thisa is one of those puzzle's.
