Not to much has happend with the car yet..
I got a set of stock alu wheel, they are at the painter...
I also put a Rx7 dizzy in it.
Took it for a very short testdrive and it all seems to work!

I realized that I will not have time to restore the Rx5, not with our little kid...
So when I ran in to another one.... well I just had to get it!

This is a 77 with just over 67000km on the clock.

All works, incl AC!

Nice car! I noticed it had an add on antenna? Ive done this in the past to one of mine for better radio reception but not since. The stock windshield antenna leaves alot to be desired. I have 4 Cosmo's RX5's left with the white one being the best shape right now. I wish I had other Cosmo owners near by. More at my site

To long since I visited th UK forum!

We have enjoyed the car now for two summers... like it more and more!
It has now done more than 10000km after we got it.
We even went for a short family holiday (Ok, it was a rotary meet but let's call it family holiday as is sounds so much better) to Åmål.
Stuffed it full put the son in the rearseat and of we went.

Apart from that we have taken some shorter trips from time to time.
Oilchange has been done and new plugs, fuel filter etc.

This summer we started a big project as we are building a new garage.

Yes that was the point of the whole thing!

There will also be an upper floor with space for storing and hopefully a nice little "Rotaryroom" where you can sit down and grab a cool beer when you have finished working!

And so the story continues... I got one more...

This is a green one that has been sitting since 1985. Body is in really good order. Engine is not known. I'll take that apart anyway.
I'm missing quite alot of parts on this one but the body was so good that I had to get it.

This one will be a long project as I now have three cars that all need some sort of restoration, a garage that is not done AND we got a son this week!:D
