Just looking through the Technical inforamation on the RX-8, it will have high compression rotor's being 10:1!!
That is awesome, it's the same compression as the 1991 Le Mans winning 787B.
It is going to be a brilliant circuit car.

Any word on how good the handling is?
I'd not even thought about it as a circuit car... what next - rallying? :)

Chaz,
It will be potentially as good if not better than the RX-7. To give you an idea the engine sits so far back in the car that the front pulley's line up with the front suspension struts. (That's how they build racecars!).
It is rumoured that they will be entering the car in the BTCC! can't wait to find out.

i read a review in a mag, and the guy driving it said that it would easily stick to a subaru sti's tail over any surface or track:D
