When you are in the South Island of New Zealand, you must go to Queenstown, there is such beautiful scenery there it will take your breath away, and there is a mountain range called the "Remarkables",they are amazing if different lights, such as sunrise and sunset.

it is the right address, I do have trouble with it sometimes. It's worth trying it again later on.

Well I hope you have a great time ... sounds fantastic!

There are sooooo many cool beaches in sydney that tourists have never heard of. Like Clavely(i think that the spelling wrong.) Find a local andget off the beaten track. Oh and go to queenstown like Carl said. awesome place. I spent a week there when I was in my early 20's and it was alot of fun. Kind of a centre for adventure stuff.
oh and by the way I hate you. (take me with you!)

okey dokey bob if you weigh less that 23 kg and fit in a suitcase you can come also will try and get down to queenstown we are definitely going to wherever they filmed lotr as the travel agent threw that with a few other activities in the deal.

era i will probably not go again so when you get over there you can get your own back.

Mike still having no luck with aus rotary link any other aussie websites that are similar.

And has anyone ever paraglided before as i am keen to try this out then before i may do a parachute jump.

bit of a difference from being towed behind a boat - to throwing yourself of a plane at 5000 feet :D

stu i think paragliding is slightly different again from parascending but not quite the same as a parachute jump but we will see :Giggle.

Shaun that link is now working thanks for your help though roll on 5 weeks on sun.

so paragliding is when you throw yourself down a cliff with a "chute" ??

sounds like a good laugh though if you ask me :D :D :D

found it :

Paragliding (known in some countries as parapenting) is a recreational and competitive flying sport. A paraglider is a free-flying, foot-launched aircraft. The pilot sits in a harness suspended below a fabric wing, whose shape is formed by the pressure of air entering vents in the front of the wing.

It is closely related to hang gliding, but quite different from parasailing/parascending, which don't involve free flight. Paramotoring uses the same equipment, with the addition of a small engine and propeller mounted behind the pilot, making it a form of ultra-light aviation as opposed to free flight.

howzit :)

christchurch is good there is a few rotorshops do a search on internet try rotary nationals etc
but auckland in north island would be better

well if your in auckland, new zealand

check out mere mere drag way racing, (just outside auckland bout 1/2hour) do a search on it as they have night time drag wars sunday drag wars etc there are some fast cars over there and have jap only days too and jap versus v8 days

also huh huh sorry :) but if its still going the illegal drags as well... was awesome when i lived there, also visit queenstreet friday and saturday night after 10pm, in the heart of auckland and mission bay and eastern beach on sundays for car cruises

there is a few rotor shops in auckland and id say a few more since i left :( oh auckland rotorheaven :)

on another note :), queenstown/christchurch rocks, sky diving, bungy jumping, jet boat spins 360 720 etc, hot air ballon ride over canturbury plains awesome etc and with your english pounds its cheap :)
all on internet :)

right think i am more or less sorted with what i am doing whilst on my hols and what i am buying oohh....

1st climbing sydney harbour bridge
2nd handgliding at stanwell park
3rd wildlife park to feed koala's by hand
4th lord of the rings tour whilst in new zealand
5th visiting drag strip http://www.wsid.com.au/
6th shopping for me and the wife and i am getting lucky because i have already bought gt35/40r turbo v-mount fuel rail injectors cold air filter fuel pressure regulator and all the piping whoch will be polished.

that is for now unless we hire a car whilst over there haven't decided on that yet if we do we are going to wakefield for some track action.

Slightly off topic does anyone think with these upgrades i will do a 10 sec pass at rotorstock i have been informed the rx will be around 400+hp atw running tein flex suspension

10 seconds - hummm not sure to be honest matey

why dont you look at the 1/4 mile times and see who is running 10's and with what spec

that should give you a rough idea

grinder
25th January 2007, 06:05 PM
to give you a quick idea

blitzboy ran a 11.31 pass with a BHP of 451

so looking at that - no you wont get a 10 sec car :(

It's all in the launch though....

Get some big ass drag slicks, some soft drag suspension and you've every chance of getting near the tens.

On Tein flex you've no chance, that's circuit suspension, not drag.

I doubt you could do a 10 second pass with 500 atw with that suspension, it just wont launch right.

cheers red and single just thought i would see how fast i may be able to get that is all but i am setting the car more for the track and when i go to rotorstock i wont be very good then oh well it is all good fun though. :burnout

Nice one mate!!! loads of good cruising to be done in oz too.
Have you done the hangliding from Stanwell park yet? I grew up really close to there! well about 40 minutes away in wollongong. Sundays always used to be awesome cruising down on the beaches but it has been a few years since I was there on a sunday!
glad to hear you are having such a good time.
cheers, michael.

You sure, that Manifold looks like a T3 footprint? Looks like a GT35R

But hey might be my Imagination its always hard to tell these Things of Pics.

Garrett GT3582's all have T3 turbine inlets off the shelf I tihnk, with a 4 bolt outlet. I bet if you check all the FD's in the UK with a GT35/40 or GT35R or whatver u want to call them they are all T3 style turbine housings. People are building them up with T4 turbines, bigger wheels, bigger exits and v-bands latterly though e.g. A-Spec...

Grizzly
26th February 2007, 11:27 PM
Ok, So the T4 Hot side is a Mod thats done to a GT3540/Gt35R, you live and Learn.

hotstepper1973
27th February 2007, 07:50 AM
well chris after 20b boy and your comments i have know idea about inlet sizes as still new to all this turbo jargon i think clarkson said it best in his description of turbo workings it performs witchcraft if you know what i mean hehe.

But if i am learning i would say having a t3 inlet rather than a t4 the t3 would not make as much power as the t4 but would spool up quicker which is what i want correct me if i am wrong.
