I've had my .98 3rd gen for a couple of weeks and was expecting poor mpg. I've just done a check and based on 4.5 ltr to the gallon I'm returning 12.7mpg and thats driving like an old lady. I was not expecting it to be this thirsty do you think this poor?

i think thats very low for a standard one you should b3 getting 18-20 as a granny and 25-27 on the motorway. If you do have a lead foot however 13 mpg is about right as far as i know.

Anyone else got any input?

I would say that Rich is pretty much spot on. May want to investigate low comsumption, or right foot.
