Any one know what model this is? Whats the difference between this and a Type-R 3rd generation?

Adam,

The Savanna RX-7's were the top of the range, usually limited edition.

They started this way back with the RX-3's.

Do you have anymore information at all? are you sure it is a 3rd generation RX-7?

Hi,

Its a 1997 Savana RB with Airbag, Leather aircon etc.... only 33,000 kms on the clock. I import high performance cars you see but hadn't heard of the savanna. Think i'll have to get it if its a rare one. Any input much appreciated. Wanna see some pics?

Sounds like it would be a limited edition for sure, Mazda Japan bought out so many different editions! I am not aware of all of them - maybe someone else on the Forum can help??

sorry i cant see any difference, it has not cruise control, climate control or sun roof from what i can see, does it have leather?
Makes me wonder wether its a name someone selling is using to make it sound better than standard trim.

Well its got full leather and climate control, i have enquired in Japan re the car and its a limited edition that comes with leather etc as standard, and it sold for the price as a standard type-r.

from the picture of the dash it does not have climate control, just air con.
