I would like to offer my support to the club and have been thinking hard of how i can do something.
I have come up with the following......

I will offer a 5% discount for all paying members on any service that Hayward Rotary provide up to and including a full engine rebuild.
If anyone wants to take advantage of this discount then they need to provide their membership number, which I will confirm that they are a full paid up member.

I am in effect putting my money where my mouth is,I hope this helps.:Thumbs-up

Regards
Carl

Have searched and searched but cannot find a Feedback thread?! #;o)

Anyways, a few comments from me: :god:god

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Just another post of praise for Carl, Ian, Jeff and Michael @ Hayward!

Spend several hours there yesterday, plan being to fault find, diagnose the dreaded boot issues and get a map on!

Arrived, was greeted with friendly and helpful peeps, cup of tea on and then they set to it!

I think Ian's first comment after a drive out is ..... 'that was just the power from the N/A'..... so pretty much no boost at all!

So, first tub not boosting enough for 2nd to work..... bad times. Could have spent several hours diagnosing vac pipes, solenoids etc etc......

For cost effectiveness, bang for buck after and after having a little drive on a non-sequential setup ( on base map )..... I said yes please!

So, non-sequential conversion ( to me can only say tis prob like a small single )... boost builds v near 3k, then all hell breaks loose at 4... ( think I saw .86 peak on the commander, on the drive back ) new plugs, road mapping session and I've come away a very happy boy

Only guestimates obviously but all reckoned about 300 fly @ .85! That'll do nicely for now.

Such a diff car to drive - makes me smile and giggle every time! #;o)
( Big power boys - just consider the fact that I've waiting patiently to have it dealt with for over a year now driving her with the above issues / power... so a big power hike for me! )

Thanks again - will be back when the service is required.... ( or the tubs give up.... or I think it's time to fit the apexi gt ic!!

Cool, how long did it take and how much did it cost to go non-sequential mate?
