mpg is about right,,,sorry..:)

cant help with hood, imobaliser. the insurance might suggest one they want you to use so ask them first, you dont want to fit one they dont recognise and have to change it.

it is a gen 2

Welcome too the club mate, regards the new hood why not try your local yellow pages under car trimmers. They could probably help you out, 2 years back my wife had a Honda Beat (dont laugh twas a great car) the roof was leaking and looking a bit thread bare. So we took it too a local trimmer and he made a new mohair hood using the old one as a template, did a great job never leaked again did lots of different colours too. Also have a look on the Mazda MX5 owners club website under the links page they have a fair few hood companies listed maybe worth trawling through the web pages for a new hood, best of luck regards Leigh.

Welcome to the gang, as a newish member myself also with a T11 convert welcome. Any questions you have no matter how small or trivial you think they are post them up quickly as the members of this forum are a great source of help. Speaking from experience they are always right good or bad but that extra bit of help could save you both time and money. Watch the wet roundabouts and enjoy. See you around when the weather gets nice. Mark
