Ok people, what is anyones opinion on these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RX7-RX-7-FD-93-95-Fuel-Rails-W-Injectors-1600cc_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33554QQihZ014QQi temZ330038210943QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

I don't think i'll need anything more than this lot, as i have FPR, pump, blanking plates, etc, etc. Ok, i don't need the primaries, and am only after the secondaries - but they are only as a package here. Seems a half decent price, and i believe this is quite a commonly used kit - am i right?

Got a set of Keiths 1680s (160lb) rail, reg, lines etc etc as Im familiar with their reliability from my Audi days, the quality of the rail is good and the lines are aeroquip, I got a great deal on the lot (thanks to the exchange rate also!!!) although due to a slight mishap on the address label, the parcel was in transit for 3+ months, but on arrival this was confirmed by the date stamps etc and communication with Keith is easy.

As far as what you actually need, obviously depends on your setup and what your goal for the car will be, Im sure someone will have a link to a reliable fuel calculation site.

If you're looking for tuners familiarity on this setup, I know Max knows the "magic numbers" for mapping the 1680s and im sure the likes of Pip and Ross also have experience with them so its not uncharted territory.

Hope this helps.

Yep, Keith is a top guy, i've had some stuff of him in the Past and have had no problems, He's very clued up on Fuel system set ups so i sugest you have a chat with him and tell him your Requirments.

I would personaly keep the stock 550's and buy the Secondry kit but its up too you how you want to play it.

you could always get the secondarys, and use your 850's in the primary rail if req.

How much would it cost to modify your rail or have one custom made? Go to your Ford dealer and ask for a price ex USA for part No. XL3Z 9F593 CA. They are 1600cc low impedence top feed bosch injectors.

Down here in NZ they sell for under the equivelent of 50 pound each.

They are used in natural gas vehicles in the states hence the huge flow rate.

They have been suscessfully used in rotors down here, I've sold 12 sets myself.

just to add to above, it should only take weeks not months to get them, and there should be no international freight charges (they dont charge freight down here anyway!!)

Please let me know if you do not want the primary injectors. The auction IS with them, but you can purchase outside ebay seperatly. Please contact directly at www.KGParts.com for the best deal and mention MRC. ;)

MAZDASPEEDTIM: You are correct it should not take this long. As Mark stated, the package was returned to us twice and we sent him the original package with all the return stampings and fees that had to be paid ($25US each time) becasue a silly street number was mixed up on the package. Apparently the postal curier could not use their brain and think for a second... :2Confused Package was sent when it should have been and to the address provided. International shipping sometimes has mishaps. Unfortunatly for Mark, his got caught up in one. :(
