Having sprayed my dash and refitted I've got one connector I cant find where to plug back in ! From pulling on it it feels like it comes from the middle of the dash behind the central air vents. (Pic below)

I presume its got something to do with the dash and rear lights as neither are working !

Cheers for any pointers.

that plugs into the back of the instrument cluster, from memory there are about five plugs that go into the back of the cluster

Thats what I thought but I had the cluster off and could only find 4 spaces for connectors and they are the ones shaped differently 2 black two white. I'll have another look.

Cheers

Hi

You'll find it's supposed to be plugged into the back of that botton at the very left of the cluster. On mine it's used for the cruise control, but the button doesn't look quite the same on yours. Its possible that cars without CC don't need it plugged into anythings, however. There's a similar button on the right hand side that makes the lights pop up without them coming one, and it uses a similar connector.

Hope that helps

Yeah, as said above - it's for cruise control if you have it. If you don't, it doesn't plug into anything. Mines the same.

Dont have cruise control and the one the opposite side is plugged in to the light popper. In that case maybe I've blown a fuse, I'll have a check tonight.

Cheers for all the help.
