Hi, I have two boost controller related questions to ask.

1. I am ready to get my rebuilt single turbo mapped. Am i better off getting a boost controller fitted before mapping, or can i get it mapped on say a 1 bar spring on the wastegate, and get a boost controller later?

2. Can people give me a list of boost controllers that are a good purchase? and which ones might be best avoided? (I know the Apexi one that fits with the Apexi PFC is best avoided - any others?)

Cheers. :cheers

Profec b boost controller in the words of one of the vendors/tuners its simple two buttons and a knob but bloody good at what it does. If you did a poll its probably the most used one on rotary's in the UK. As regards mapping on the spring have a word with who ever is doing the tuning as they have to be comfortable with mapping this way.

Get it fitted beforehand. And profec b is the way to go!

Had HKS EVC5 on the FD that worked really well

Have an Apexi AVC on the R33 that seems to work really well too
