Gentlemen:
A little assistance in pricing my Rx-7 will be greatly appreciated.
I have a 1979 Rx-7, Limited Edition (I have been told there were only 3000 produced). I am the only owner. It has a 13B engine, five speed, with approximately 25K miles, with Jacobs ignition, wires, etc. Holley 600 cfm carb, and headers. The original engine was replaced after 125K miles. The car has a show car paint job (black) with tinted windows, the original mag wheels that came with the limited edition including the spare. All the emblems on the front of the hood, back and the front quarter panels are new. The interior has had seat covers since day one so the seats are in good condition as is the rest of the interior.
The original radio, cd (clarion) has been replaced with a quality am/fm/cd player and quality speakers. Most of the miles are highway and the car has never been in a wreck and garaged its entire life. The ca
I do not have to sell this car, however, I have another project that requires additional funds. If this car will sell for a realistic price I will sell it. The car is in Alabama, USA. Any and all replies concerning price and where to put it up for sale will be appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi,
being a UK based forum its difficult to put a price on a car in a different country. have you tried asking on one of the US forums ? (www.rx7club.com www.nopistons.com etc. )

I wouldn't imagine it would be worth much more than a normal '79 as its been modified from standard. If someone were looking for a limited edition rare car they would want it to be totally standard. this of course is only my opinion.

Mike

Hi and welcome and thankyou for signing up with Mazdarotaryclub,

That's one very special car you have is there any chance of some pictures.

Like anything it's only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it, but l would say a car this special would be better trying to be sold out through a specialist classic car Magazine with a sensible offers tag attached rather than a price or maybe sell it at an auction with a good reserve i.e. the lowest that you would be prepared to sell the car for.

Hope this helps.

All the best Clive

Gentlemen:
Thank you for your advice. I will check out the US sites and see if I can get a better grip. I will have photos if it looks as if I may be able to get a reasonable offer.
Thanks again,
