A "purebred" 4 door sportscar made by the only vehicle manufacturer in the world that still produces the awesome rotary engine.</font></p><p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">First impressions are that the car looks even better in the flesh, than what we (in the UK) have seen have on photo's etc.. Many bystanders were commenting on how beautiful the car looked, and that it is a 4 door, 4 seater sportscar - with 250hp. Even other manufacturers at The Sportscar Show were impressed and interested in the RX-8. </font></p><p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">The car displayed was painted in pearl yellow. With plenty of head and leg room in the front, and also the back! This is really a proper 4 seater car. Hints of the unique rotary engine everywhere - rear fog light, gearknob, starter button, and door sills, all in the triangular rotor shape. Along with the large tachometer with a 9,000rpm redline right in the middle of the dash! </font></p><p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">The RX-8 will be on sale early 2003, and will be a high volume production car for Europe.
