ok, i'm trying to change my suspension, just found out it has ohlins (sp) on at the mo and i've got a stock set to replace it with, the springs are shorter, so will this effect the handeling much? Also the hole where the suspension goes up into the body (in the engine bay area) is too small. the suspension is rounded and the hole is D shaped, this was fine on the old suspension as it was D shaped also but now the replacement set wont fit. Should i drill this out? Thanks for any advise.
P.S I : I've given up for now and i'm gonna have a beer and beat some americans up on fight night 3 online so no immediate rush! :D

theres a lot of variable (spring length not usually being a major one) which affect the suspension and handling...

as for the top mounts and turrets, have you got a photo? As long as the studs on the top mount get thru the holes in the turrets, you shuld be fine just bolting the nuts on.? But photos would hep if im talking total garbage!
