Hi
I would like to express how p***ed off I am with Mazda right now.
The waiting, the delays, the not knowing when my car is being delivered, the closing my dealer's franchise last week was bad enough.

Today I dropped in the new dealer to get a part exchange price for my Astra Coupe Turbo (if anyone's interested, its going cheap). The new dealer had 5 RX8s on site. All the colours.

They all looked great although I was not that taken with the red. The black looked incredibly mean and the silvers were knockout, though perhaps the titanium looked a little dull and the silver a littel bland. But beautiful machines nonetheless.

I was offered a test drive this evening. Got my son from school early, put on my RX8 t-shirt (yes I know its sad) and went at the appointed time, very expectant and excited. only to find that the demo car was jacked up on a machine having some fancy exhaust fitted and so I couldn't drive it.

AAAAGGGHHH! the guys were appropriately embarrassed and apologetic but the "right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing " service just goes on and on. I mean they had my phone number for god's sake.
Well, were they at least able to give me a price on my car as promised? No, the manager will have to deal with that tomorrow.

As for Formula Woman, I applied ages ago. as soon as I got the application form and saw that they wanted a photo, and lots of personal details, I realised that this was not going to be about driving skill. I imagined that a 40-something year old lady like myself wouldn't even get invited to an audition

I was very surprised when, about 3 weeks ago, i was invited to one, but it was on a weekday morning 8am, a long way away and they gave me less than two weeks notice. When I asked about this they basically said that they were sending out late invites when places hadn't been filled by the first choice applicants. So I reckoned I shouldn't waste me time!

all the best
sorry to be moaning again
