I'm re posting this in the Cosmos section witha load of new pics. as it was disappearing under a raft of RX-7 bits in the for sale section...

1990 Eunos Cosmo 13b Type S – C11SMO

Due to a major re-think of Car and Car Club commitments I am selling my 1990 Eunos Cosmo 13b. This Car has been seen at a few MRC events in the last couple of years and has been my pride and joy. Anything that it has needed it has got. The car has a full service history since arriving in the UK. The Importer (Chris Watkins at hsimports.com) bought it to run as his own car, so he made sure he got the best one he could find. Chris ran it for a year before selling it and provided a translation of the Japanese service history as well. The car has all its handbooks, service books etc with it all still in the original black leather Eunos document holder. Even the rotary Cosmo keyring is present.

During the time I have owned the car I have had the rear secondary shock absorbers replaced along with rear suspension bushes and front anti-roll bar links. The brakes have had new pads all round and all the tyres are new Kumho Ecsta Supras. I have all the bills for every service, the oil has been changed at least every 4 months regardless of mileage. All work has been carried out by local Import specialists Protech who also did all the SVA work. Current mileage is 56,500. The car has always started and run well and given reasonable fuel consumption ( low – mid 20’s). The drive is phenomenal – so smooth and relaxed you could call it effortless. All of the electrical goodies are in full working order.

The car is totally standard apart from the new DMRH Intercooler which has recently been fitted. And the stereo which has been changed for a UK item with CD player. I have replaced the front speakers with Kenwood units as the originals were knackered. I have the original intercooler and pipework. and the original stereo, as well as a spare set of tail lights and a new air filter which will be included in the sale. The cherished number plate C11SMO is included, as is a full service.

The car is fitted with a Toad Category 2 immobilizer with proximity sensor.

The car is taxed until 30th April 2007 and MOT’d until 31st March 2007.

Offers around £3895

Hi,

Yes it is an auto - they all were from the factory. A few have been converted to manual transmission.

A bit of bad timing Tim as there's been a glut of Cosmo's on ebay of late. Good look with the sale though i'll put the word out at local meets up this way.

Hi Kevin,

I'm not expecting it to sell quickly, they aren't the sort of car that does. I've put it on a couple of other car websites and it's in Japanese performance in August. So we'll see how it goes.

These are great cars. A perfect mix of speed and comfort. I really like the interiors of them too. Kinda space shuttle like. After seeing Kevs at RSIII I am an even bigger fan of them.
Good luck with the sale.
cheers, michael.

We sold the car yesterday. I was very sad to see it go but I couln't justify keeping it to do 900 miles a year it really needed to be used and driven and I just haven't had the time in the last year, (and we need to buy Elsa a new car).

The buyer was a real enthusuiast and I'm sure he'll be joining MRC soon.

Thanks to Clive, Lisa and Kevin and all at MRC, who knows, we may be back. After you've driven a rotary everything else just seems so agricultural.

Bye for now.

Tim
