i'm with them also most of them are insured as classic cars thats why they can do them so cheap. as the acrs are over 10 yrs old!
mine is £699 and it doesn't even take into account my no claims. So its available to use on anothjer car with any other company..............Thinking about a Speed Six TVR:p

I've just insured my rex 7 with them. 92 type r and I'm 20. No no claims bonus on this car but I have 2 years on another car and they are charging £1398 which i think is pretty good.

Got my papers from sure term today and they had my car down as a 2313cc.............no not a t2.....so i got on the phone and made sure they knew it was a 2616cc......new docs on way apparently...they were very sorry. ..........If I hadn't noticed and i needed to make a claim i'mm sure they would have told me where to go!!!
i would make sure before we get too excited with cheap quotes!!!!::rolleyes:

Yeah mine said that too, but it seems thats just whats on their system. I claimed and it wasnt a problem. I also had them change it to 1300cc for my documents :D

Why did you change it for your documents????????

Because it was registered as a 1300 and the police caused me no end of grief when the registration and insurance documents didnt match up in the past.

Is that not illegal
J4P RX
24th October 2003, 08:56 PM
Why would it be illegal?
The car is registered as 1300cc because its displacement is 1300cc. To register it as such you need to have proof, which you have in the form of the Japanese deregistration documents which nicely show CC as 1300.
The only arguement is should it be classed as 1300cc or not, but that is a different story - I just took it that displacement means displacement. Otherwise they should have said swept volume if thats what they mean.
