My 7 is 10 years old, and I am thinking about changing all the suspension bushes, springs and dampers.

I have a ruff idea of what springs and dampers I want to go for, but what about all the bushes? Do I replace them with stock Mazda units or do I go for some uprated units.

Looking at a US sullpiers web site, they use what look like some poly mix bushes.

Or should I go for the Mazdacomp/Mazdaspeed bush kits?

The reason I think that it is one its way out, is when I recently had the geometry setup done, I took the car for a quick drive to check everything out, and the front nearside (left hand side for you US boys!!!) had lost 3 degrees of castor. I took it back and put it back on the setup bed, we checked all the bushes, but all looked ok.

Comments welcomed.

There is only two places in the US i'd use for suspension bits.

Racing Beat www.racingbeat.com

MazdaTrix www.Mazdatrix.com

they supply quality parts and i've used them alot with good results.

Hi Dan,

What about the FEED spherical bearings? Chris Wilson had purchased from Japan. But I believe you can get these through Ant.

Bloody expensive - but bloody good from what I hear.

Spherical bearings aren't meant to be much good for road use, they get covered in dirt and grit and wear out very quickly
