I need a bit of help. I'm running a HKS racing suction,HKS front pipe,HKS hiper muffler,de-cat pipe and a HKS EVC 5 boost controller and I need to find out how much power I can run and what do need to my recon engine as Im planing on running a HKS TO4E turbo kit because after that along with all the other bits you need to have it will be about 400-500bhp. Oh and what can the gearbox take?

get Carl Hayward to build the engine and have it dowled coz the only way you will ever get 500 bhp from a to4e is to run 2bar of boost.

I know that this post is probably long dead, but... You did not list any fuel mods or ECU change. Is your engine still in one piece?

the engines been rebuilt not so long ago by hurley :( and ive done no mods to the ECU or turbo yet seems to be pulling strong still but knowing my luck now ive said that its gonna go pop soon

Hopefully not, but Hurley doesn't carry a good rep by most of the members. I hope she stays good. If you still plan on running higher boost, i strongly advise you to employ the mods mentioned, so as to safeguard your new lump.

thanx for the help ive got a different plan for the car now but ill see how much the wallet will let me do :D
