Found either a misprint or something very interesting today on the Mazda UK site ( in the club section)

Quote / seen here is the 280bhp REnesis engine !!??

All I could see here was a reference to the Rx01 concept car... Interesting that it's still there though.

When are we going to see a link to mazdarotaryclub.com listed above the Mx5 comunuty???

Clive, I have been reading most of the threads from the US list on this subject.

It looks like Mazda are going to de-tune the engine to around the 250BHP mark.

They have a race series out there that uses stock cars. And again Mazda have de-tuned it to around the 240BHP figure.

This could all be hot air, but until it hits the road, its all speculation. ;)
