Can anyone tell me if the clutch on a Generation 1 is cable or hydraulically operated? Have looked but cant really see!

its hydraulic ... if you look just behind the oil filter near the bulkhead (its bolted the gearbox bellhousing) you will see the slave cylinder and the hose going to the master cylinder which is just to the right of the brake servo and resevoir

Got it! Had a look and have found it now, thought I had better check the fluid level which looked ok!
Might be able to get to drive the car sometime this year, things are starting to come along nicely now. Fuel tank is back in, brakes are almost finished and then its only the exhaust until I can get it running again! Still got loads of welding to do though....:(

hi rx7 seuk, i noticed u are based around Horsham.i am in Crawley. Ihave a first gen. rx7. 1983. bronze-gold, 50,000m. excellent cond. for sale .its been in garage thru the winter months,used only in good weather conds. are u interested!photo is on web site

Hi Ray. Unfortunately I dont really have the space for another car...already have 2 sitting on the drive :D I'll keep my ears open for anyone who does want one though. how much you looking to get for it?
