Pretty much what it says in the title my alarm has stopped chirping when you lock and unlock the car, the alarm still sounds when it goes off so i'd imagine its a setting somwhere.

Any idea's

did you take the car off for some work to be done and forget to put it in valet mode? if so the buggers up the siren or system or something and it will never chirp again, need to replace the siren, this has happened to mine, and i just will not pay to get it changed, last time i asked was £75, but thats 2 years ago,

I had a few electrical and overheating problems which pretty much co-incided with it stoping working maybe I should take it to the alarm guys that fitted it and ask.

Have you the original manual?
Maybe there's a setting which silences the "chirp".
With my Clifford fob, pressing both buttons makes it chirpless, but alot of settings are done by pressing these buttons in a certain order.
Just a thought.
