I have a seriously modified FD RX7 13B fully Dowelled race engine for sale, nearly all new parts.
This engine was built as part of a sponsorship deal for Mr Gary Marks of Rotary Art to compete in "Ten of the Best II" in June of 2003.The car never competed due to problems on the ancillaries not being ready in time.The project has languished for various reasons ever since,with the engine hardly being used.
The price for this engine now in fully refreshed A1 condition will be £5500.00 A Bargain for an engine with all new parts and Iannetti Ceramic Apex Seals and new rotors and housings
The spec of this engine is as follows:-
New Rotor housings
New side housings (Plates)
New rotors
New Iannetti Ceramic Apex seals and springs
New Corner seals and springs
New side seals and springs
New Oil control rings and competiton springs
New Oil control O rings
New competition Bearings throughout
Used and race clearanced eccentric shaft
New Race oil pressure regulator
All of the housings are ported for big power turbo capability,big inlet ports,and exhaust.
Engine is Dowelled for extra strength.
The engine was also balanced at the time,so should be reliable for 9000rpm with the right ancillaries.
The engine can quite happily be used in a modded road car.
I will completely refresh the engine when I get it back so there will be no qualms about it's condition for the new owner.
