After been inside my FD for the first time in months, the interior has a slight problem with mould. I take it a very good complete valet should take care of the problem and i don't need to replace the interior???

The car will be going for an engine in a couple of weeks and want to get it sorted before then.

Also when i tried to unlock the doors using the key it didn't seem to want to work. ( i ended up climbing through the boot and unlocking the doors from the inside) but the handles work fine. Do you reckon a few good squirts of WD40 should cure them?? I dont really use the key that much for opening the doors as it central locking, but the battery is flat at the mo lol.

Cheers in advance guys.

Mould can be a buggar, I used to get it in the roof linings of my mx-5's, apparantly, you need to disinfect / kill the mould rather than just clean it. Cleaning it actually spreads the spores and it may come back worse !!

I take it a decent valeting company should be able to do this for you, or is there a treatment you can buy off the shelf for this???
