Classic/Limited use insurance

Ive been on the lookout for a good condition FC for ages now and I think i might just have found the one im after sitting in a tiny little used car dealership in the middle of nowhere.

Now of course, having my luck I couldnt have found the car while I was working, I have to find the car 3 days before I leave for university. I wont be working and i will be in sheffield centre so ill be using public transport for my day to day stuff..The rx7 will be a weekend/fun car rather than a work horse.

The car im looking at is a 1990 and im looking at getting it insured under a classic policy. I will be doing relatively few miles, probably around 5k a year id guess. Now what I want to know is whether my current NCB will be used and whether it will be maintained. I dont want to get a classic insurance policy if it means my full NCB lapsing.

If that is the case, is it possible to get limited use policies from normal insurers?

Can anyone recommend any decent companies who deal with classic insurance? Ive looked at the Chris Knott site and ill give them a call in the morning.

Try Victoria and Liverpool. They quoted me the cheapest, just wouldnt touch my daily driver.
