Colour Of Interior

i 'had' ( should have never of sold it ) at 1988 2ng Gen RX7 , it was metalic blue and had a grey interior

now the next door had a black one with a grey interior ( f reg )

he now has a TII again with a grey interior

now i went to look at a 1986 ( c reg ) rx7 and it has a red interior ( and indeed it was a red car )

SO...

the question is

do all 1986 - 1988 have a red interior ( i think its the S3 ? )

I have seen a white one on autotrader - and due to being picky i dont want the red interior

i would be happy to have one with the red aslong as the car was cheap enough !!! :)

can you guys shed some light on this for me

Hi,
86-89 are S4. The red trim was an option i think picked by a blind man. As far as i am aware, this option was only available to the S4, as well as a slight blue colourerd interior.

I have a 88 white 2nd gen with the blue interior, and I also had an 89 black 2nd gen with a grey interior.

Pretty certain that the S5 came with grey or black trim. This trim is alot better than the S4 in that it had a soft rubber coating on the plastics.
