Help Cannot open bonnet

Hi All

Just had a lady on the phone who is unable to open her bonnet on her Gen 1.

She has tried pulling the leaver out with someone thumping the bonnet but no luck so has anybody here had this and if so is there a way of sneaking in another way to gain access to 'flip' the catch open ?

it is possible to get access to the catch from under the car but it really needs to be up on a ramp.

I have seen this question asked on the US Forum, I will see if I can find the answer ... back soon,

Sorry the US forums have been down for a while ... this is the best I could find. doesn't sound like an easy job but apparently it is possible !
