Replacing rear FD speakers

Hi All,

I have some Pioneer 6x9 speakers but my FD has mounts for 6x8. Is there an easy way to modify the 6x8 mounts? Is it just easier to get some 6x8 speakers?

your only option is to make up a spacer ring from MDF to allow you to fit a 6x9 in the rear, there is not a lot of room in there and if your 6x9 is quite a deep spearker then i would suggest getting some 6x8s.
