Finally got round to having a look at why me head unit doesn't work. The guy who had the Rex before me fitted a headunit but it never worked. I have been tinkering today and the headunit works with no sound, but only with the car's lights on!! :Hammer
There is an ISO adapter but I don't think it's wired in properly, does anyone have an index of what the original coloured wires are?
If I had that I could disconnect everything and reconnect it all properly!

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Will

UPDATE: I now have sound from the front right speaker, after disconnecting all the other speakers! I am really stuck as to why this would happen unless the ISO is wired in wrong, the only way I can check this is to know what the original loom wire colours are. I'm trawling the internet to find a wiring diagram but no luck so far :Grrr

Cheers Nix,

I've decided that I'm going to keep the stock power wiring but use my own wiring for the speakers :2Confused Got the ISO block sorted and wired in correctly and discovered that all speakers bar the front right are blown  Going to invest in a half decent head unit and a couple of set's of comp's front and back, so I want to use better quality speaker cable to get better sound :yes

Just got to wait for the January sales and see what bargans I can get :D :King

Have fun going through the door jams. Not tried it in an RX7 yet (I will tho ;) ) but it was a complete :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored: on my Probe to get wires through from the car into the doors.

Cheers for the manual links as well. Going to be buying a new stereo and I'll wire in an ISO connector to replace the original connector so it's nice and easy for wiring.
