Its the Apexi one designed to be used with the Power FC and Commander.

Im after a boost controller as I will soon have my engine rebuilt and for running in purposes would like to be able to wind the boost right down. Also would like to be able to turn it down if ever I need to leave the car with someone (garage etc) so they cant rag the sh!t out of it!! Particularly important for when I take it to get resprayed.

The link posted doesnt go to a specific page. I would recommend that you go with either the Greddy Profec B or the HKS version.
Both are used with good results.

mmm, thats strange, works for me. Here is what the site says about it:
Brand APEXi
The Boost Control Kit is an optional kit designed to control boost through the Power FC. Simple connection to the Power FC allows the user to access a full self-learning boost controller. The Power FC allows up to 4 different boost presets for any stage of driving. The high grade solenoid valve is the same one used in our Super AVC-R boost controller. As with the S-AVCR, the Boost control kit allows increased boost response and boost stability at high RPM's
I just like the idea of it working WITH the Power FC.

I was under the impression that the Apexi one is not that great at being able to hold constant and consistent boost.

Sh!t that is a difference - particularly in the Torque!

Ah the old boost controller kit from Apexi. Well the only bit worth having is the map sensor, after that the solenoid is not that good.
Get yourself the ones recommended above.

Yep, the map sensor alone is something like 95 quid, I made sure i kept it on. The boost level was the same but the torque came from me moving the air filters into picking up in front of my FMIC :). The big reason why the torque is so different is that pip was able to tune the car for the setup once i fitted the profec B, the apexi just wasn't stable enough to show what he needed to adjust to improve the performance. Amazing away from the lights, almost 260 ft/lb of torque from 3k. Now i have a clutch to handle it too, just wish the weather was nice and dry !
