View Full Version : Air con and fans not working from the heater controls

Can anyone help.

My car has been sat still in my garage for a few month now.
I try to get her started as often as possible but yesterday I went to start her and the battery had run dead.
Recharged today and fired her up.
I tried to turn on the AC to get the cabin nice and warm but nothing from the heater controls, If I press auto or the AC button or the fan button nothing happens, Usually I get a little light showing whats what.

The fans come on when the engine is trying to cool down but nothing if I try and do it via the heater controls.


ANyone any idea's what this could be.

Dunno mate, but mine did this when it hadn't been used much. Now I'm using it regularly, it's OK. If you find out the problem, please post it!

eddie do a search on fuses i think clive posted a pic of the fuse box in english

If you download the owners manual here it shows all the fuses and the fuse locations.

There is a fuse box in the engine bay

Number 6 the green one controls the heating/blowers.

Before anyone says, there isnt a battery in the car !!!

I would try this first matey and see how you get on.

thanks a lot for your time Gmogle.
I will give these a try as I have been messing around in that area recently as i have relocated my battery to the boot, bet I bloody dislodged soemthing.

Thats ok mate,

Cant promise its right, hopefully its that simple though and nothing expensive.

I bet we all think that when something goes wrong lol.
