Right then this is kind of a strange problem.
I have a 93 FD Rx and the electric windows and the seat belt warning light have gone insane.
When the car is cold the seatbelt warning light will not stop flashing even if the seatbelt is buckled up. Also the the windows will only go up/down a stage at a time everytime the seatbelt warning light flashes??????
During hot summer days theres no problem, but on freezing cold days like these its driving me crackers. It eventually stops about an hour into a journey once the car is warmed through.
Has anyone else had this kind of problem, if so any help would be appreciated, or is it just my car thats cursed!

try unpluging the seats, there is a plug/socket under the seat

It's the small ecu under the dashboard, right hand side. Marked either F100 or F110. They get damp in them then feck up. Phone around some of the RX7 breakers for a replacement. Should be about £25 tops, and it's a 10 minute job to replace.

I've been having exactly the same problem, but I'm too lazy to ask.

Cheers.

same thing happened to mine, except it was a constant buzzing from the beeper. I took the unit apart and it was damp inside. The damp caused some of the electrical tracks inside to burn out. You can prob repair it yourself using some wire if your handy with a soldering iron.
