Hi,
Right, i am in the middle of rebuilding (myself) my 92 FD Type R, got all the engine out, rotor chambers apart and inspected what looks to be only minor damage to inside of rotor housing (Apex seals seem as though possibly replaced in Japan, only small peice of spring seems to have caused engine failure)
Just on the off chance wondering if anyone knows someone willing to finish the rebuild for me (have now lost my garage workspace) apart from all usual recommended rebuild companies- i.e. someone in fairly near area who has done a few of these, possibly from home, etc...as i am looking to finish rebuild on the cheap as budget is tight (as am I!). Not in a great hurry to get the car back on the road, so time can be taken. If anyone knows someone who can help please let me know.
Thanks in advance

Well no probs for me at all,Chalky, Precision work all the way, i was fortunate enough to see how he works on an engine, The guy certainly knows his stuff, checked clutch, turbo's everything that needed doing he did, i hope to get him to do another rebuild for me at some time in the future. it was great to get the car running,(i bought the car knowing water seals had failed) pretty quick too, he doesnt hang about.I can highly recomend him, but then it's over to you to take time to run it in properly, which i made sure i did, pays dividends in the long run! That and regular oil changes. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the result.
Good luck,
Bob
