Speedo sensor

I have installed the kph to mph conversion, but speedo does not work, have checked all wiring is correct, so replaced dial still not working, fitted apexi fc commander thought i could use that for speedo readings, thats does not read either, the only conclusion is that it is the speedo sensor has a fault, anyone else had this problem.

Where abouts have you wired it in and what colour wire have you broken into? Not 100% up on fd wiring but i'll have a look at the wiring diagram and see if i can figure it out for you. If it was working before its probably just a case of splicing into the wrong wire or getting connections reversed, also what type of converter where you fitting as some of the better systems have a test mode that lets you check out the wiring after the converter.
