Map sensor 1 way valve..anyone know which way it goes..

As per thread title really :)..

Took the valve out as i replaced the hoses but did'nt look which way the arrow was pointing..anyone know ? :) :)

I imagine you want the arrow to point towards the map sensor, as you want it to sense boost. But i'll just check for you...

mine didn't have an arrow on...not that i could see anyway! grr

surely map sensor should have a 2 way filter only! As by the nature of what it does it needs to read both manifold vacuum and boost to operate correctly.

I think its a filter not a valve

Explains why there was no arrow on mine then!

It's a filter not a valve.... but the arrow should point towards the MAP sensor..
