Used back box question?

I have recently bought a used back box and now waiting to be fitted. But I jus want to know if I need a new gasket between the back box and mid pipe. Or can I jus use the original one like that, will a old gasket leak??

Use an exhaust paste on both sides and it should work.
If it is an after market box needing a bigger gasket then maybe you should get a new gasket as most of them are bigger bore too.

I already have a after market exhaust system with similar diameter, jus that I want to try a different back box with different sound :)

So I guess I will be ok using the gasket already on there and may be use a bit of the paste on both side of the gasket just to make sure.

I presume these paste are design for the exhuast gasket and I can get them from places like Halfords or something?
