Hi Folks, I'm hoping someone has had the same problem as I came across today.
After sitting in my garage for a month, I went to start my 3rd gen. Not long after I noticed that the nearside indicator wasn't working. As the others were going at double the speed, I thought it was a bulb gone, when I took it out it was fine. The earth is ok as it is shared by the side light and this is normal. When putting a voltmeter on the +ve on the bulb holder I am only getting about 1.5vdc - the other side (which is fine) goes to about 13vdc.
For some reason I am only getting 1.5 which isn't enough to make it work. Looking at the wiring diagram, the positive comes from something called a CPU2 (?) in the drivers footwell.

Can anyone help please?
Thanks.

Is it a fuse gone??.....sounds simple i know, but check the fuse box in the drivers footwell.

Doubt it's the fuse as the side repeater and rear indicator still work ok.

I suppose I'm really after what that "CPU2" is all about.
Thanks

I actually seem to have a similar problem at the moment too. Sometimes the left indicators will work just fine, but more often than not the rear (left) will do double the speed and the front one won't work at all, the right side works fine though. Hmmmm...

Hello all,
After having some trouble with my indicators and MOT tests I need a bit of help.
Firstly, can someone please confirm that the metal box in the passenger footwell is the CPU2?
And secondly, does anyone know how much a new (used- but new to me!) one of these will set me back? Or how to test it??

Thanks for your help.
