Picked up the Cosmo yesterday from Southampton docks :) Seems to have survived well except for broken indicator lens :(
I will have get this fixed, then fit a rear fog light ready for MOT and UK registration.

the dash on the cosmo is something else, it makes you feel your flying a jet when your driving. The interior looks like the sport model?, is it a 20B?

Mmm... I'm liking that lots - we need more cosmos!
Been very tempted to get one, have a big port job and strip it out - that would be fun and very noisy too lol! (I love an extremly noisy car)!! ;)

Nice looking motor get it through the sva and get a few miles on it before the weather turns. Easy option for the fog lamp is to use the righthand reverse lamp unit put a switch (must be illuminated when on or seperate warning lamp) below the dash and run a new live to the bulbholder then change the bulb to one with red covering.Wirings pretty easy to route along the prop tunnel.

Thanks for the comments people.
I will be leaving it as standard until next year, so I will have the winter to make some plans.
Thanks for the fog light tip Kev, I was going to ask what you did.
I have now got car running and seems sweet. The battery was completley dead and motor was totally flooded, had to pull the plugs three times to clear the fuel and get compression back.

did you have that horrible rotary panic of 'is it flooded or is it FDUK'd' i think they do it on purpose just to keep us on out toes!

I was expecting it to be flooded after the stop start on and off the boat, but it was good to here the reasuring sound of compressed air being forced from the spark pug holes.

Hi Buddy
Seen you around Poole in the FC Cab and now the cosmo, which is what i am hoping to get eventually, so i you wont be the only cosmo owner in the village.
Any chance you could drop me a mail at jetpilot1@ntlworld.com, i would love to come take a look and pick your brains.
Thanks

Afraid the twin plate clutch and new gearbox still hasn't gone in yet due to my mechanic hurting his back, so things have been put off for a week.
Booked up for a drift session at Silverstone on Nov 6th which'll give me a chance to get used to the new clutch! ;) Would be cool to see you getting the cosmo rear end out!!
