I saw that some club members have got a Racing Beat Dual Tip muffler for their FD .
What do you think about it (look , fit , sound , power, ...) ?
And where did you buy it ?(with the cost please...)

I want to know EVERYTHING about this muffler!! :D

Along the same lines....... Are there any other options for replacing the rear box as mine has a rattling baffle so needs replacing in the near future?

Hello, you should be able to purchase any brand of rear muffler really (as long as it fits the RX-7). I'm no the kind to go for brands, sound and performance is important to me.

Ant and Geff @ REWorx (http://www.reworx.co.uk) should be able to supply you with a variety of rear mufflers. But even your local exhaust shop will be able to offer something for your car.

Hi
I have the twin tail pipe. The noise is awsome there is a video clip on this site. When I took it to Le Mans this year we wound her upto 180 mph on one of your lovely flat motorways and at that speed it hert our ears. I have no mid cat so it is noisey. I may not have the fastest car at some of the events but always the loudest. At the 10 of the best in york I pulled upto the starting line wound her upto 5000 revs which hits the launch control, throws flames and bangs and fireworks. One poor soul spilt his coffee down his front.

Hi All, l can vouch for all of this ,he realy aint kiding l was sitting behind him at a mesally 155mph and l've never seen acceleration like that at those speeds by anything else , he hit the limiter at 180mph and a huge sheet of flame spat out and it was set at 7k at the time and its now been raised to 8k so god knows what it will do now !!!

All the best Clive.;)

I have the dual tip muffler. It has a nice mellow sound. I have a high flow cat. Without a cat it is louder than I like. Mine was purchased directly from Racing Beat. I highly recommend it.
