Night racing AND some seriously fast rotary cars (apparently the explosions are "just" backfiring through the carbs and not the engines letting go) Most of these cars will be running around a 300hp shot of nitrous !

Now I thought I was bad for breaking things but some of those cars must have been shot to bits. :burnout

Not sure how often they break stuff but the drag racing scene over there is massive so these are just the "highlights" I'd guess :D. I had a list of the quickest rotaries in PR and there were at least 30 N/A cars running sub 10 seconds so the field is huge. From reading threads about the new record set at this event they ran well into the early hours of the morning as there were so many cars competing ! (3am IIRC)

The new all motor record is 8.63@152mph and is held by a Toyota Starlet called 'Oly Machine Shop'
