DIN Cup Holder?

Driving back from Maccys today with my coke between my legs i realised i really did need a cup holder after i got over excited with my pedals and popped the coke all over my crotch :rollin

So started looking where i could mount one and have it look decent, then looked at spare din slot, but am i wrong in thinking the din slots are standard sizes on all vehicles?? I thought it was a standard sized rectangle

The reason is i was looking at something like this, but it makes it sounds like thats the only car it would fit whereas i thought din would fit any??

I thought that, when in 1,3,5 I don't have much room between hand and the dash, definitly don't think would have room for a large Mcshake which lets face it cupholders are meant for!.
