Rotary Autograss Racers (Fastest Man on Grass, blyton)

Just got back in from a great days motorsport (spectating this time) and have a few photos of the rotors out competing (at least three I saw, but one I didn't get a snap of)

The Red/White Rover with a PPort 13B is class 7 saloon and is driven by Janet Ellis

and the single seat special is a class 10 and was running side ports still (couldn't find the owner) apparently its running a Ford Mondeo gearbox.

both cars were mixing it with the top bike engined cars (usually two off!) and the Rover has won its class before.

The Black Fiat BTW is Carl Mosleys twin Hayabusa powered class 7 (I think) ... its certainly a sight to behold and VERY fast.

BTW I reckon one of these rotary powered grass track cars would do quite well on our 1/4 mile leader board :)

I invited Janet Ellis & Co. to rotorstock and they said Pip wanted them to go this year but it clashed with a race meeting :( hopefully next year eh :)

There's a champion grass tracker down at RxMotors under a pile of bits. Just needs a gearbox from an early Audi 80 Coupe.
