Air Conditioning?

Does the Turbo II have Air Conditioning? I know at least the convertibles have it so would it be safe to assume the Turbo II's do too?

i dont know the answer to this exacly but i know the yanks have it and as you say the verts have it. i would have thought that it must have been an option but i havent seen it. i know this is not much help.

i spose if you track down a damaged vert you could use all the bits from that. but its all extra wieght. just open the window

European S4 models does not have A/C (but it could be installed by dealer)

But most of Euro S5 Turbo II models i have seen were equipped with A/C

How hard a job is this? Are any rotary specialists able to do so or can I go up to my local Mazda dealer and get them to fit the A/C unit?

Also what year are the S5 models?

Its not hard job, it just takes little bit time (for first time install i would say one full day for one person job)

With FSM in hand, u should not have problems to do it yourself if u`ll be able to find all necessary parts.

Series 4 are 86-88
Series 5 are 89-91

Mazdaformance.com had while back for sale complete new mazda kit for dealer installed A/C system for $400 or so....

I know that my black TII certainly need's A/C. Try putting a tinted film on the rear window, it may not be a cure but it sure does help! :cool
