First, my pop-up lights don't always go up. The lights come on, but they don't always pop up. Is this a common problem? does anyone know where the fault might lie?

Also, my rear lights (brake light and indicators are ok), including fog lights don't come on, and the lights on the dash do not come on. I have recently removed the instrument panel - could i have missed plugging a cable in? Or is there something else likely - like a fuse or summat?

Cheers! I await answer with anticipation! :)

Hi Dave, yeah that would be appreciated if you know your way round an FD's electrics!

Whereabouts are you? I think i've seen you around - as it looks like you have a red FD with a very similar rear spoiler to mine! In fact my mates have mistaken a Bristolian red FD with veilside rear spoiler as mine - it could have been you!

Ok, i'll check out my instrument cluster first i think - it may be that i have done something stupid like not plugging a cable in!

Well, i finally found the issue - just came down to a blown fuse in the end. Behind the drivers footwell panel there's another fuse box. Wierdly, i thought i checked that fuse first time round, so started looking elsewhere for the issue (Took rear lights to bits! :p). Then when i still couldn't find the problem just started taking the fuses out one by one - and there she was: a 15amp blown fuse - 2 seconds later, and brand new one in, and the lights worked spot on! :D
