Hi,
Yes,I have reduced the price due to the number of other cars for sale at a lower price,it seems the reasonable thing to do,also my workshop is too full!
I have the following FD Rx7 for sale £8000.00 (Or £7000 in stock form, see post below)
Type R 1992 manual in Black.
Apexi Power FC fully mapped by Hayward Rotary.
Decatted.

HKS down pipe.
This car will have approximately 300hp flywheel when run in.
This car has a freshly rebuilt engine and will carry a full 12 month any mileage warranty for the new owner's peace of mind.

I forgot to mention that I may be prepared to take a part ex on the car, and that if the new owner wanted the car to be totally standard then I would put a stock ECU on it and recat it with the stock induction system.
The car would be for sale at £7000.00 in totally stock form, with the 12 month warranty.

Hi Carl,
Is this because you are using your personal User ID rather than HaywardRotary?

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the relationship between bhp at the flywheel and bhp at the rear wheels? I realise that the latter will be less because of frictional effects etc. but is there a simple rule of thumb relating the two. Also, which is the figure normally quoted in car mags? :p

Hi Adrian,
the power loss through the drive train(Gearbox and back axles/Diff ) is approximately 40-50 hp,so at the wheels you would be looking at around 250-260 hp.
The stock car has only 255hp at the flywheel which is a fair bit less.
It is quite complicated to get into how the figures are reached, but if you would like to know more I would be more than happy to try to explain it to you on the phone.

The price has been reduced on this car to £8000 with the mods and £7000 in totally stock form.
It seems that there are quite a few for sale and the price relects the value put on these other cars.
Also I need some room at the workshop!
