Okay I know big is normally best, but can anyone recommend a really slim sub that I can fit in the boot of my FD? It needs to be light too - as I can't hear anything below 10khz at the moment with my noisy car. Pref a self powered jobbie so I don't have to make a box up etc..

Phase linear used to do a range called "aliante".... Awosme subs they go from 8-12's...... very light, very thin, they work in very small boxes and the responce is fantasic(so long as the box size is correct)

Directed audio suds are also designed to work in small boxes i think a whole range of there 12" subs work in a 1 square foot box

i run a Rockford 700watt dual voice coil 8" sub in mine off a genesis profile 5 amp and it works really well.

hope this helps
