Hi all, can anyone advice what shocks are fitted as standard to the twin turbo. I wish to renew mine do places like REworx and RX Motors etc sell them, not looking for anything fancy just a straight swap but if anyone can recommend some decent after market items I would consider those as well. On a tight budget at the moment. Also are originals more expensive than aftermarkets all advice gratefully excepted, many thanks in advance Leigh.

Some models came with the Bilstien shocks and Eibach springs.
Both are availible here in the UK, is you cant find the Bilstien's use Koni's.

No wont make any difference, just make sure you swap a pair at a time (i.e. front pair or back pair).
Spings should be done all four at the same time when swapping for different types.
RoTechniks charge 95 quid per shock, and 195 for the springs. The spings might not be Eibachs though.
Koni part numbers are :-
8041-1169LSport Left Front
8041-1169RSport Right Front
8041-1170Sport Rear
Eibach part numbers are :-
5525.140 Pro Kit (lowers by about 1 inch)
5525.320 Anti Roll Bar Kit (32mm Front, 19mm rear)

you don't need to change the springs ... aftermarket shocks work just fine with standard springs (should do as they were designed for 'em)
an ideal setup for the speed bump infested city roads :)
