Hi All,

I'd like to ask a few questions mainly directed towards the vendors/private importers who use this site for selling theirs cars and give out tips on buying/selling Rx-7's.
How do you deal with certain elements of buying a car like this in this manner, like-

What happens in the event that someone puts a deposit down on a car whilst its in japan, and when it arrives its not what they expected, or its damaged in transit?

How do you deal with warrentys, like say i'm in Scotland, and i bought a car from Essex and the engine goes pop, could it be fixed in Scotland and the bill forwarded down to Essex, or would it need to be examined and repaired in Essex?

Which importers/vendors have the cars undersealed when they come in and which don't and why?

Do any of you have Cat 1 alarms fitted as part of the OTR price?

How do you varify the mileage that is quoted in the auctions in japan?

What fuel do you suggest the rx7's are run on once they come off the boat or are the ECU re-calibrated for UK fuel as part of the OTR price?

Number plates, is there an option, like new cars now, it choose the number plate that the car gets first registered on? (On really a Rx7 particular question but you may have more idea than me)?

Do you have any other little 'bonus's' that your company's offer that other importers may not?
