How many Norton Rotaries at "Rotorstock"?

Just wondered how many Norton rotary bikes there will be at this years event?
I would like to see some more.They were great last year.

Hi Carl. In short, ive no idea! Its been well publicised in the ROC and NREC magazines and on the 'Smart Groups' Norton Rotary forum. Also I sent out targetted emails a couple of months ago to all the DKW and Suzuki owners i could find to provide a bit of diversity. Sadly the National Motorcycle Museum have declined to attend Rotorstock this year, maybe next year.
There is a ROC meet-up on the 29th at Stanford Hall near the M1/M6 junction, i dont know if this will be good or bad for the Rotorstock attendance on the 30th. I will be at Stanford Hall drumming up support. Geoff from Blackpool will be making a full weekend of it, being at Stanford Hall and Rotorstock again.
Ive booked 12 car parking spaces (paid for by ROC) for Rotorstock so 24 bikes would be good!! :)

The answer is a very disappointing and demoralising five! :(
Me and Geoff again plus Phil the spill (grey Norton Commander) and a hugely impressive turnout from Clemens and Katrin from Germany!!! (Norton Classic and DKW Hercules sidecar outfit). A big thank-you to Clemens for sorting out a petrol leak on my left carb just prior to scrutineering :)
Me and Geoff only managed to get three runs in on the strip (perhaps not for me to say, not being a member, but why were all the non jap/non rotary cars there allowed to run again this year?) but the 1st and 3rd runs produced personal bests for me of 12.39 and 12.35 :D

I guess that a bit more advance warning for next year maybe in order.
Great to see you and have a chat too.
The Hercules was also nice to see,but I did not get a close up unfortunately!

Ive just got around to reading the Rotorstock II programme, sorry guys, we failed miserably on the Suzuki RE5 front but thanks to the German contingent we did have the 'Hercules' badged 'rare' DKW. :cool
Its possible that we may have a VERY special bike with us next year... one of the first air cooled (pre JPS livery) Norton works race bikes (everything crossed).

put out my photos from big Wankel meeting due to 100 Yers of Felix Wankel in Lahr Germany sept. 2002. At this time I made some pix and would like to share them with you. Some very nice pix of unknown Rotary- motorbikes there, for example this Russian prototype, now registered in Swiss. (dont ask me, how this people get them to Swiss)....
